Hiring: Main Stage Production Stage Manager (Summer 2026)

Millbrook Playhouse is seeking a Production Stage Manager for its 2026 summer season. This role manages two Main Stage productions: *Annie* and *The Wedding Singer*.

Responsibilities:
Lead the rehearsal process, ensuring clear communication and efficient use of time.
Oversee the production schedule and coordinate with acting, directing, and technical departments.
Manage all backstage operations during performances.
Foster a collaborative environment for an early-career cast and creative team.

Contract Schedule: This is a back-to-back(B2B) contract. The Stage Manager will open *Annie* and continue to run performances while rehearsing *The Wedding Singer* during off-performance hours.

Production 1: Annie: Rehearsals: June 7 +ndash; June 18 - Performances: June 19 +ndash; July 3 (13 shows)
Production 2: The Wedding Singer: Rehearsals: June 23 +ndash; July 9 - Performances: July 10 +ndash; July 19 (9 shows)

Qualifications
Proven experience in theatre production management or a related field.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to remain composed under pressure and adapt to changing production needs.
Experience working with early-career artists and managing collaborative teams.

Compensation + Logistics
Weekly Pay: $500 + (based on experience).
Housing: Provided for out-of-town staff (shared accommodations).
Travel: Round-trip bus fare or equivalent travel reimbursement provided.
