For over 60 years, Millbrook has provided early-career theatre artists with practical experience and portfolio enhancement. We welcome applicants who excel in collaborative environments, showcase creativity within budgets, and stay composed under pressure.

The Millbrook Playhouse, a converted dairy barn, houses two distinct stages: a 246-seat thrust stage and a 100-seat Cabaret Theatre.

2025 SUMMER SEASON: ROOMS: A Rock Romance+nbsp;(June 6-14),+nbsp;GREASE (June 20 +ndash; July 3), CLUE: On Stage (July 11-20),+nbsp;HONKY TONK ANGELS (July 25 +ndash; August 3),+nbsp;DRACULA: A Comedy of Terrors (August 8-17),+nbsp;Plus, our Theatre for Young Audiences show+nbsp;TUCK EVERLASTING TYA (July 19 + 26.)+nbsp;

Production Stage Manager for the 2025 summer season
Cabaret: Rooms: a Rock Romance.
Sunday, May 25 through Saturday, June 14.
Main Stage: Grease, Clue, and Honky Tonk Angels. (prefered to gave one person sign on to all three shows)
Grease: Friday, June 6 through July 3
Clue: on or about June 24 through Sunday, July 20.+nbsp;
Honky Tonk: Sunday, July 13 through Sunday, August 3
Cabaret: Dracula: a Comedy of Terrors.
Sunday, July 27 through Sunday, August 17.+nbsp;

Responsibilities:
Guide actors through the rehearsal process, ensuring clear communication and efficient use of time.
Oversee the production schedule, coordinating with all departments (acting, directing, technical) to keep everything on track.
Manage backstage operations, ensuring a seamless performance for every audience.
Foster a supportive and collaborative environment for the early-career cast and creative team.
Will also assist with various company management duties, including organizing travel, addressing hospitality needs, and performing basic human resources tasks.

Compensation
Weekly pay is $400 - $500, based on experience and qualifications.
Housing provided for out-of-town actors (shared accommodations)
Round-trip travel bus fare or the equivalent amount in travel reimbursement
