Description:

Wild Kratts Live is a children's theatrical production based on the popular PBS Kids animated television series Wild Kratts, starring Chris Kratt and Martin Kratt. The show plays one or two shows a day, with a load-in and load-out each day, typically followed by overnight travel to the next venue. This is a one-truck show with a fast-paced schedule.

The show features two adult male actors with multiple character costumes with specialized fit and function. On tour, wardrobe crew leads local crew in laundry and maintenance, assists Stage Manager with dressing room setup, and manages quick change area setup. During shows, Wardrobe has a dressing track as well as supervising local dressers on additional dressing tracks. With large costumes and heavy use, minor repairs are a significant responsibility on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities:

- Supervise local crew for load-in, setup, and load-out of all wardrobe materials.
- Oversee laundry, steaming, repairs, and basic maintenance of costumes during load-in.
- Supervise local crew to assist on quick changes during performances.
- Perform quick changes and other show track cues during performances.
- Setup talent dressing rooms, assist in setup of hospitality, dressing rooms labels, backstage and
quick change areas for talent.
- Maintain paperwork to document show track and information for future shows.
- Perform maintenance and conduct basic repairs of costumes and wardrobe equipment on the road as needed.

Qualifications:

- Quick change and dressing experience.
- Basic sewing and costume repair proficiency.
- Experience with IATSE crews and basic union rules and working conditions
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
- Valid passport for travel in the US and Canada.
- Touring experience a plus.


Compensation:

Day rate: $275-375 D.O.E.

Per diem provided, some meals provided, accommodation and all travel costs are covered by the tour. Most dates are sleeper bus accommodation with hotels provided on select days depending on schedule and routing. All hotel accommodations are single occupancy.
