For over 60 years, Millbrook has provided early-career theatre artists with practical experience and portfolio enhancement. We welcome applicants who excel in collaborative environments, showcase creativity within budgets, and stay composed under pressure.

The Millbrook Playhouse, a converted dairy barn, houses two distinct stages: a 246-seat thrust stage and a 100-seat Cabaret Theatre.

2025 SUMMER SEASON: ROOMS: A Rock Romance+nbsp;(June 6-14),+nbsp;GREASE+nbsp;(June 20 +ndash; July 3),+nbsp;CLUE: On Stage+nbsp;(July 11-20),+nbsp;HONKY TONK ANGELS+nbsp;(July 25 +ndash; August 3),+nbsp;DRACULA: A Comedy of Terrors+nbsp;(August 8-17),+nbsp;Plus, our Theatre for Young Audiences show+nbsp;TUCK EVERLASTING TYA+nbsp;(July 19 + 26.)+nbsp;

-Create detailed sketches or mood boards for all summer productions.
-Source, purchase, or construct costumes within budget limitations.
-Collaborate with the director, actors, and production team to create a cohesive vision.
-Fit and adjust costumes for optimal performance and comfort.
-Attend production meetings and rehearsals assigned.

Paid a fee per show. Pay is based on experience, qualifications, and complexity of design.+nbsp;+nbsp;
Main Stage Musical: $1,000.00
Cabaret show: $700.00
Dates: (Start dates are flexible pending show and build schedule)
Grease: On or about Monday, June 2, through Friday, June 20.+nbsp;
Clue: On or about Monday, June 23, through Friday, July 11.
Honky Tonk Angels: On or about Monday, July 7, through Friday, July 25.
Dracula: On or about Monday, July 21, through Friday, Aug.8

Housing provided for out-of-town actors (shared accommodations)
Round-trip travel bus fare or the equivalent amount in travel reimbursement
