Cedar Point Live Entertainment is now hiring skilled Entertainment Technicians for our 2023 Summer Season. We have expanded our live shows this season and are looking for a number of technicians with experience in Audio, Lighting, Video, Stage Management, and Supervision. Technicians will be responsible for running and maintaining the show quality for their designated production.
We are looking for Technicians available from Mid-May til late August

Stage Managers:
- Great organizational skills
- Quick to adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Office applications such as Word, Outlook and others
- Comfortable with working indoors, outdoors or within non-traditional theatre spaces
- Comfortable calling shows from a script and with timecode
- Must be able to work well with large casts and crews

Audio Experience:
- Knowledge of digital consoles including Allen and Heath, Yamaha and Mackie.
- Advanced signal path troubleshooting
- Knowledge of wireless RF operation and upkeep
- Comfortable with live mixing bands including vocals, Piano, Drums, Guitar, Bass, Brass, etc.
- Advanced knowledge of QLab show control including Multitrack playback, MIDI and Timecode
- Help build and maintain audio racks for each venue including wireless receivers and transmitters, amplifiers and power distribution
- Moderate knowledge of networking including signal chain and ensuring connectivity between devices
- Understand gain structure and EQ for vocals and instruments
- Basic lighting experience is a plus!

Master Electrician:
- Advanced knowledge of ETC EOS consoles
- Advanced DMX signal path troubleshooting
- Experience with wireless DMX including EFly and CityTheatrical Multiverse
- Comfortable with power distro racks and power distribution
- Moderate knowledge of networking including signal chain and ensuring connectivity between devices
- Understanding of conventional and moving lighting fixtures
- Being able to busk or take cues based on notes left from the designer in case of emergency
- Read, install, and maintain lighting plots in their designated space including daily checks
- Be able to solder and troubleshoot Pixel/LED tape
- Basic understanding of video walls including power distribution and data
- Comfortable with heights, including ladders, lifts, and scaffolding.
- Basic soldering skills

Video Switcher:
- Basic understanding of video walls including power distribution and data
- Advanced knowledge on wireless camera troubleshooting
- Moderate understanding of Watchout and QLab video playback including timecoded video
- Confident in switching between video content and live cameras in a fast-paced show environment
- Confident live mixing up to six cameras including handhelds whiling giving video direction to operators
- Able to program PTZ cameras and use in live setting
