The MFA in Theatre, Scenic Design emphasis is a three-year terminal degree that provides comprehensive knowledge of the craft. In your study courses we will cover not only scenic design, but also advanced building techniques, art and decor history and more. You will receive one-on-one mentorship and the ability to tailor the curriculum to best suit your needs. Being a Scenic Designer can mean many things: working professionally in theatres, traveling on tour, joining the corporate world, or teaching in academia. We will work with you to discover your passion and put you on the right path.
