Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theatre is seeking individuals for employment as a Electrician for our 2026 summer season. Each summer UFOMT produces 4-6 mainstage shows in repertory, 2-4 concerts, and other events during our festival season. Electrician responsibilities including working in the lighting department and working with the Lighting Designer in implementing the lighting needs of all UFOMT productions by hanging, circuiting, focusing, and maintaining all lighting equipment, as well as run crew for two shows as board operator, spotlight operator and/or back stage support including daily show changeovers. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who can prioritize and execute required duties in a professional manner. A qualified applicant will have a working knowledge of all standard theatrical lighting including automated lighting and have the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Applicants should also be highly motivated and ready to work in a fun and exciting environment in the beautiful mountains of Northern Utah.
