Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theatre is seeking individuals for employment as an Audio Visual Engineer (A1 or A2) in our 2026 summer season. Each summer UFOMT 4-6 shows in repertory plus additional events. Audio visual staff members assist the Sound Designer and Lead Audio Engineer in the setup, recording, and implementation of all audio and projection needs. They also provide run support for two shows, as well as some concerts and other festival events including daily show changeovers. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who can prioritize and execute required duties in a professional manner. Qualified applicants should have a strong background in live mixing, equipment set up and repair, troubleshooting, and have a working knowledge of theatrical sound and projection equipment and engineering. You should be highly motivated and ready to work in a fun and exciting environment in the beautiful mountains of Northern Utah.
