Northwestern University School of Music is looking for a Master Electrician for their 2026-2027 Opera season. Below you will find the ME schedule for the Fall Opera. The ME schedule for those will mirror that of the Fall schedule. Please let Production Manager Buck Blue know ASAP if you are interested in any or all. We will also be looking for a Lighting Board Op. and that position can be combined with the ME position if interested. All work will take place in Evanston Illinois.
ME Rate: $2000 Per Opera ($6000 Full Season)
Light Board Op. $1000 Per Opera ($3000 Full Season)

Sunday 11/01 9am-5pm Lighting Load-In #1
Wednesday 11/04 10am-7pm Lighting Load-in #2
Saturday 11/09 10am-7pm Lighting Focus + Cueing
Sunday 11/10 9am-9pm Dry Tech.
Friday 11/13 6pm-11pm Piano Tech.
Saturday 11/14 10am-10pm Piano Dress / Orch. Dress
Sunday 11/15 11:30am-5:30pm Orchestra Dress
Monday 11/16 6pm-11pm Orchestra Dress
Tuesday 11/17 6pm-11pm Orchestra Dress
Sunday 11/22 5pm-11pm Lighting Strike
