Harand Camp of the Theatre Arts, an established musical theater and sports camp for children 7-18, is looking for Camp Counselors specializing in TECHNICAL THEATER (age 18+) for its 2026 Season (June 15 - August 4, 2026).

This person would serve as a camp counselor and work in our technical theater department (under our Tech Director) and also teach or assist in other activity areas.

Counselors must be able to work + reside on campus at Carthage College in Kenosha, WI for the duration of our camp season, June 15-August 4, 2026. Full room + board provided (dorm living at Carthage with three meals a day in The Caf catered by Parkhurst Dining, valued an additional $600/week).

REQUIREMENTS:
* Camp Counselors must be 18+ (out of high school!)
* Excellent with kids of all ages
* Ability to instruct or assist activity classes in variety of areas
* High energy and flexible in a fast-paced environment
* Strong leadership and team-building skills
* Positive attitude, common sense, and sound judgment
* Sincere desire to be a role model for children

SKILL + INTEREST AREAS:
* Technical Theater - Scenic/Construction/Props/Lights/Sound)
* Technical Theater - Costuming (alterations, construction, fittings etc.)
* Performing Arts (Singing, Acting, Dancing)
* Arts + Crafts / Fine Arts
* Video / Photo
* Sports + Fitness (Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Swimming etc.)
* General Games and Activities
* Other / Miscellaneous (Martial Arts, Creative Writing, Comedy etc.)

OTHER DETAILS:
* $1400+ stipend for Assistant Counselors (18+, just out of high school)
* $1500+ stipend for Counselors (18+, at least one year out of high school)
* More with experience or special certifications (Lifeguard, WSI, Nursing)
* Plus, full room + board at Carthage College (valued an additional $600+/week)
* Travel Stipend available for those coming from outside Illinois/Wisconsin
* 2026 Dates: June 15-August 4, 2026 (Seven-week commitment including orientation)
