Unicorn Theatre is seeking Electricians to join our seasonal team. Electricians are responsible for Hanging, Cabling, and Focus of lighting elements for our (7) show season. Electricians will report directly to the Production Manager. Additional duties include: assisting in cleaning and maintaining lighting fixtures, electrics storage, and assisting in general safety of (2) theatre spaces. All experience levels of Electricians are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

- Read light plot

- Participate in Light Hang and Focus for all productions.

- Coordinate Electrics needs with Production Manager

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Qualifications:

- Knowledge of lighting instruments and accessories.

- Ability to solve problems quickly.

- Comfortable working in heights up to 20+rsquo; on a ladder

- Knowledge of proper Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and safety practices.

- Professional experience in technical theatre
