A leading Richmond, VA based event company builds/designs props + scenery, provides lighting, sound, gaming activities + other production rentals and services is looking for a positive, motivated, hardworking person able to troubleshoot think ahead and on his feet, enthusiastic to grow with the company.
Our policy is to promote from within. Advancement available. This entry level position could eventually lead to the Event Producer role

Responsibilities include
- Event set up/break down, load in/out.
- At the warehouse, check in and return to stock all items.
- Construction and installation of scenery, props, drape treatment, centerpieces, lounge furniture or any event parts contracted for the event.
- Installation of basic theatrical lighting including hanging, focusing, and circuiting of lighting equipment will be a plus. We will train.
- If assigned to shop - organize inventory, return to stock, clean and maintain warehouse and other such responsibilities.

Requirements
General mechanical abilities with all tools
Requires physical activity. Must be able to move 50-75 pound with material handling equipment
Positive attitude
Great Driving Record

Pay Rate: $19-21.00/hr with abundant over time if desired
