I am a dedicated and multi-talented theater professional with 15 years of diverse experience, having graduated magna cum laude from Troy University in 2012 with a Bachelor's in Theater. My career spans a range of environments, from theme parks and cruise ships to custom fabricating marine canvas, giving me the ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to unique challenges.

Over the years, I have developed an exceptional attention to detail and a strong foundation in various technical and creative skills. Whether performing in fast-paced live environments or working on intricate, hands-on projects, I am known for my ability to stay organized and deliver quality work in high-stakes situations.

During the pandemic, I expanded my expertise by pivoting to a role at Signature CanvasMakers, a premier local canvas shop. Over the course of a year and a half, I honed my skills in marine canvas fabrication, specializing as a stitcher, and further enhanced my problem-solving and craftsmanship abilities.

In addition to my strong sewing skills, I also have experience with basic carpentry and electrical work, including hanging and focusing lights. Currently, I serve as the Head of A/V and Projection at Virginia Opera, where I manage the setup and operation of both analog and digital soundboards, perform cable repairs and basic equipment maintenance, and provide live mixing for small-scale performances. I am also expanding my knowledge into audio editing and sound design.

Outside of work, I am passionate about continuing to learn and grow, whether it+rsquo;s crocheting, embroidering, reading, writing fiction, or studying new languages+mdash;currently, I+rsquo;m learning Norwegian.
