Gulfshore Playhouse, a mission-driven, professional theatre company located in Naples, Florida, is seeking a
dynamic, detail-oriented and organized individual to serve as Assistant to the General Manager.
Gulfshore Playhouse offers a diverse season of straight plays and musicals ranging from venerated classics and
Broadway hits to contemporary works and world premieres. Gulfshore Playhouse is passionately committed to
producing high-quality, professional theatre which exceeds the expectations of the cultured residents and visitors of
Naples, FL, many of whom are regular theatre patrons in New York, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, and
Washington, D.C.
Gulfshore Playhouse recently opened the Gulfshore Playhouse Baker Theatre and Education Center, a state-of-the-
art facility, featuring a 365-seat mainstage with a Broadway-sized stage, a 125-seat flexible space, rehearsal studios,
classrooms, and rental space. In 2022, Gulfshore Playhouse became nationally recognized as the 77th member of
the League of Resident Theatres (LORT). This is an extraordinarily exciting time for Gulfshore Playhouse, which is
experiencing unprecedented growth in a collaborative and creative community.
Status: Full-time, year-round position, Overtime exempt

The ideal individual will have a strong drive to provide high-quality work, the ability to exercise good judgment in a
variety of situations, strong written and verbal communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work as part
of the team. Gulfshore Playhouse values hard work, kindness, generosity, passion, and grace-under-pressure.
Employee will be expected to work extended hours on occasion when necessary to meet goals. Weekend and
evening hours may be required including attendance at performances, special events, and/or meetings that may
happen outside normal scheduled hours.
The Assistant to the General Manager reports directly to the General Manager. Duties and responsibilities include
but are not limited to:
a. Assist General Manager preparing cover sheets and riders for directors, designers and actors
b. Maintain PTO records for GP Staff
c. Maintain Production Personnel document with contracting and travel information for contracted artists.
d. Collect bios and headshots for contracted artists.
e. Assist the Front of House and Company Management staff as needed.
f. Serve as the sole point of contact regarding company housing properties.
g. Schedule cleanings of company housing.
h. Report maintenance issues to landlords at respective housing locations.
i. Regularly inspect properties for maintenance needs.
j. Monitor leases and coordinate lease renewals with General Manager and Company Management.
k. Maintain company housing with all items required by AEA, SDC and USA.
l. Create and manage budgets for company housing.
m. Work any events as may be required by employer including but not limited to opening night celebrations,
and the annual gala fundraiser.
n. Provide services in a manner in accordance with the guidelines contained within Employer+rsquo;s employee
manual and style guide.
o. Rendering such other services as may reasonably be required by Employer and as are customarily furnished
by an Assistant to the General Manager at a first-class professional theatrical organization in the United
States.
Qualifications:
● Knowledge of theatre operations is highly desirable.
● Fluency in Excel, Word and Google Drive
● Exemplary organizational skills required

Compensation + Benefits:
Salary range: $45,000 to $50,000
Benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, short and long term disability, a 403(b) retirement plan, paid
