About the Role

Spiegelworld is looking for an A2 - Audio Technician - to join the team at Absinthe at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. This position is an employee of PRG - Showpay and managed onsite by Absinthe. The A2 will work with the sound equipment, run a show track, set up and run equipment as needed throughout the venue. This position reports to the Production Manager and their manager at Showpay.+nbsp;This is a full-time, Union position that pays $36.89/hour.

What you'll do:

Mic tappers
Perform mic checks
Hand off mics to performers when needed
Run a track during the show
Do carpentry cues during the show
Responsible for setting out lights in our Green Fairy Garden nightly
Set up the DJ for our Green Fairy Garden parties on the weekends with the Production Assistant
Clean up lights after the Garden closes and lock up storage container
Communicate with Production team if there is a problem with lights or audio in the Garden
Fill in as the A1 sub when needed
Participating in all required safety and emergency rescue trainings, as directed.

Actively help us maintain a safe and welcoming workspace.
Other duties as assigned by your manager.

What You Bring:

Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all colleagues and guests
Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to company uniform and standards
Ability to work in a collaborative environment
Strong attention to detail
Ability to stay calm under pressure
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
High school diploma or equivalent
Must have valid work authorization for the US
Must be a member of I.A.T.S.E. 720
Must have valid work authorization for the US
Successful background check clearance prior to hire

Preferred skills:

Knowledge of digital mixing consoles
Previous work with Yamaha CL/QL series
A strong grasp of QLab 4 or higher
Basic networking knowledge
Dante 1 certification or higher
Understanding of clear com systems specifically Freespeak 2 wireless com systems
Knowledge of Shure wireless systems
Ability to troubleshoot audio systems
