The Phoenix Theatre Company, Arizona+rsquo;s largest professional regional theatre, located in downtown Phoenix Arizona, is seeking wardrobe apprentice applications for the 2025-2026 season.

The apprentice program is designed for aspiring theatre artists to attain work experience while under the tutelage of industry professionals. Ideal candidates have completed a bachelors program or have similar industry experience. The program offers practical applications in multiple career fields including Scenic, Properties, Costumes, Lighting, Wardrobe, Sound, and Stage Management. This program is season long, averaging 51 weeks with flexible start and end dates and offers opportunities for growth in the applicants field of concentration.

Wardrobe Apprentice:
The ideal candidate is positive, self-motivated, organized, collaborative and professional. Wardrobe duties include:

Learning and Assisting with the Creation of Paperwork

Run Sheets

Preset Lists

Laundry Schedules

Attending Designer Run and Timing Entrances/Exits

Helping with take-over for Wardrobe

Running a Wardrobe Track during shows

Helping with laundry and notes at the end of a show night

Helping with the Load-in and Load-out of each show

Other duties as assigned

Compensation:
A weekly stipend is offered for the apprenticeship. Nonlocal apprentices are provided with fully furnished, single occupancy, all utilities included company housing in downtown Phoenix close to the theatre.
