Production Director Position Description
Suntree United Methodist Church

Position Overview:
The Production Director will collaborate with the Worship Pastor to provide leadership and oversight to all areas of Production (Audio, Video, Lighting) for Suntree United Methodist Church. This person will manage production-related aspects for Sunday morning services, special events, weddings, and funerals, as well as manage Suntree UMC+rsquo;s production needs and equipment and recruit and train production team servant volunteers.

Qualifications: The Production Director must possess a passion for the mission and vision of Suntree UMC to be a church where we love God, love each other, and love our neighbors in extraordinary ways. Must exhibit a vibrant and committed faith in Christ and have a strong desire to support the mission and ministry of Suntree UMC. Must have a +ldquo;People first+rdquo; mentality and have a heart to build teams by recruiting and teaching servant volunteers. Must possess strong organizational skills. Must have excellent technical knowledge and be adaptable and flexible when working in live production environments. Must have a collaborative spirit and be a good problem solver. Must be a self-starter, willing to take initiative to continuously improve production systems and equipment. Must have the drive and energy to strive for excellence and innovation in areas of production.

Other Qualifications:
+bull; High School Diploma / GED preferred but not required.
+bull; 2 years of experience in a live production environment.
+bull; Experience with Planning Center Online (PCO).
+bull; Experience with Propresenter.
+bull; Volunteer management / training experience.
+bull; Familiarity with various live production areas (audio, video, lighting, broadcast, etc.).
+bull; Familiar with audio networking.

Core Responsibilities:
+bull; Lead the Production team for weekend services and other events.
+bull; Recruit, train, and mentor Production servant volunteers.
+bull; Provide regular training opportunities for servant volunteers.
+bull; Manage and upkeep the various production equipment.
+bull; Clean, organize, and upkeep tech areas (soundbooths, broadcast room, etc.) across Suntree UMC+rsquo;s campus.
+bull; Help set up stages in various worship spaces for weekend worship services and special events.
+bull; Provide Production support for special events, memorial services, and weddings.
+bull; Assist with the building and lighting of stage sets.
+bull; Manage repairs of production equipment.
+bull; Keeps up-to-date documentation of production equipment and processes.
+bull; Other duties as assigned.

The Production Director will report to the Pastor of Worship Arts. Pay: $15 per hour. This is a 10-hour-per-week, salaried position with personal time off, as described in the Employee Handbook of Suntree UMC.
