Hair, Wig + Make-Up Supervisor

$625.00/week + on-site housing provided

The wig/hair and make-up Supervisor is part of a a three-person team led by the Supervisor who works directly with the various costume designers and the Costume Shop Supervisor. Once designs are settled, the Supervisor works with the assistant and intern to ensure all looks are taught to each actor and/or wardrobe, assists those with more complicated looks or multiple changes to maintain the design on a nightly basis and all wigs are maintained for the full season run. The Festival does have a small stock that we pull from but relies on rentals that need to be treated well and returned in top condition to maintain our ongoing rental relationships.

PSF+rsquo;s summer festival is a fast-paced work environment necessitating strong multitasking and data tracking skills. An ideal candidate will be team and goal oriented and receptive to the adaptive problem solving required to mitigate the ever-evolving needs of a vigorous summer festival season. Patience and mediation skills are required to ensure a professional and inclusive work environment at all times. The Supervisor must be comfortable mentoring others and teaching an assistant and intern who is often a young professional just getting into hair/wig/make-up. Some run responsibilities are possible.
