Job responsibilities:
-Work independently to research, purchase, or build props based on instruction from Prop Shop Supervisor and Scenic Designer
-Load-in and strike properties and set dressing for each production
-Assist Prop Shop Supervisor with providing rehearsal materials to the rehearsal room and communicating with Stage Management
-Assist with general maintenance of the shop and show maintenance through the run
-Assist with supervision and instruction of props intern through all phases of process
-Willingly assist other departments as needed including projects related to the well being and maintenance of our property
-Evening show duties are assigned as each show demands. These include helping in our patron parking lots, ushering, bartending, concessions, etc.

-Intermediate Photoshop skills as it relates to the creation of paper props
-Both rough and finish carpentry skills, including furniture building and repairs

-Ability to work at heights
-Ability to lift 50 lbs
-Bachelor's degree in related field or commensurate experience
-1+ years professional experience in similar environment/position

-MIG Welding
-Basic/Intermediate upholstering

-Safe handling or consumable/food props
-Valid U.S. driver's license


Staff arrival date on campus is May 17th, 2026 with the first day of work commencing on May 18th 2026. Departure date is October 21st, 2026 which is after our final show closes and the property is closed down. An earlier departure date may be discussed as necessary.

The rate for this position is $550 - $650 per week, based on skills and experience. Travel stipend provided. All positions are housed on property, at no cost. Meals are provided at a cost of $95/week.
