STAGES St. Louis, a professional musical theatre company entering our 39th season, is seeking Production Staff to join our 2025 Season. The Season consists of three large-scale musicals: Murder for Two, the pre-Broadway production of Austen+rsquo;s Pride, and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical and runs from May through October. Start and End dates depend on each position. All seasonal positions are paid bi-weekly on Fridays. Although limited housing is available, preference will be given to local (St. Louis, Missouri) applicants.

Stages St. Louis is looking for an A2 for our 2025 season. Although start and end dates are flexible, we hope to find personnel that can fulfill the largest contract possible. The A2 works closely with the Audio Supervisor and Sound Designer to work within the Audio department and handle mics for performers.
Dates: 5/12/25-9/24/25
Starting at: $17/hour
1. Required skills
a. Confident reading and interpreting drawings and plots
b. Confident handling and troubleshooting microphones for performers
c. Preference given to previous experience with Digico SD9, Aviom personal mixers, L+rsquo;Acoustics PA, and typical musical theatre audio and video needs
2. Required duties
a. Demonstrate knowledge of standard equipment and practices to implement the Sound Designer+rsquo;s plans
b. Work with Music Director to fulfill the audio and video needs for the Music departments
c. Work with audio staff in shop and theatre
d. Perform any repairs or maintenance on audio equipment
e. Under the direction of the Audio Supervisor, work in shops and in theatre load in, tech, run, and strike

a. Attend Production Meetings and other meetings as required

Working conditions include long days, working nights, weekends, and some overtime. Noise levels vary from quiet to very loud due to large machinery. A moderate degree of physical ability is associated with production positions, including ability to infrequently lift up to 50 pounds, pulling ropes, wear PPE, standing for long periods, climb ladders and stairs, and working at heights. Climate control varies significantly and shops are not air conditioned. May be required travel locally on a regular basis, including driving a company cargo van or a box truck up to 26+rsquo;. A high degree of working awareness is a must.
