The Adjunct CLT would function as a short-term Technical Director for the Theatre Program. The job would be about 100 hours of work per semester, mainly around our fall and spring productions. Ideally the person would have some carpentry skills, be able to run a lighting hang and focus, be able to set up sound equipment, and be able to help with general trouble shooting while we are in tech, and during performances. While not a teaching position, the TD is expected to explain technical processes and mentor students to become more effective technical theater workers thereby enhancing their understanding of the theatrical process. Excellent leadership and communication skills as well as mechanical ability and knowledge.
