Description:

This part-time seasonal role supports the Professional Apprentice Program by managing daily operations, coordinating with departments, and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth functioning of the program.

Collaborating closely with the Director, the Program Coordinator will assist in the recruitment and onboarding apprentices, organize training sessions, workshops, and events, handle payroll, and maintaining accurate records. They will communicate with apprentices and supervisors to address administrative needs, implement program policies, and prepare reports and presentations on activities and outcomes.

The salary for this role is $29.39 per hour for 46 weeks at 25 hours per week. This position is not eligible for benefits. While hybrid work is possible, the position primarily requires on-campus presence.

Role Responsibilities:

Manage day to day operations of the Professional Apprentice Program and provide administrative support to the Director.
Assist in recruitment and onboarding process for apprentices, assisting supervisors as needed.
Assist in developing and implementing program policies and procedures.
Coordinate training sessions and workshops collaborating with departments, alumni, and professionals, and maintain records and documentation.
Process timesheets, manage overtime compensation, and prepare reports and presentations on program activities.
Address apprentices+rsquo; concerns and provide guidance.
Support recruitment efforts through advertising, word of mouth, and attending career fairs and other networking channels.
Assist in apprentice alumni network and outreach.


Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor+rsquo;s degree in arts administration, education, or a related field or 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in an educational or arts setting.
Strong organizational, prioritizing, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Understanding of Juilliard+rsquo;s mission and commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging.


Preferred Background:

Experience in performing arts or higher education.
Strong knowledge of stagecraft and/or performing arts.
Stage Management or Production knowledge is a plus.
Experience with event planning and coordination.
