Starting $18/hour (negotiable)
ob Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
Scenic (included but not limited to)
Assist with the construction, installation, and striking of sets.
Perform maintenance and repairs on scenic elements as needed.
Ensure all scenic pieces are safely and securely installed.
Lighting (included but not limited to)
Assist with hanging, focusing, and maintaining lighting instruments.
Operate lighting consoles and follow spotlights during performances.
Troubleshoot and repair lighting equipment as necessary.
Sound (included but not limited to)
Assist with the installation and maintenance of sound equipment.
Operate sound consoles and other audio equipment during rehearsals and performances.
Troubleshoot and resolve audio issues promptly.
Costumes (included but not limited to)
Assist with costume fittings, alterations, and repairs.
Maintain costume inventory and ensure proper storage.
Assist actors with quick changes during performances.
Props (included but not limited to)
Assist with the creation, maintenance, and organization of props.
Ensure props are properly placed and in working order for each performance.
Assist with the striking and storage of props post-performance.
Qualifications (included but not limited to)
Previous experience in at least one of the following areas: scenic, lighting, sound, costumes, or props.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform other physically demanding tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a theatrical production environment.
Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices in technical theater.
Proficiency with technical equipment and tools specific to the area of expertise.
