Legacy Dinner Theater, located in the heart of the Wisconsin Dells. WI is now accepting applications for Sound Engineer. This is a year-round position designing and running shows for casts of 6 to over 20.
Requirements:
*5 years or more experience.
*Possess a strong understanding of sound design and operation.
*Strong background in live sound engineering for small and large productions.
*Proven expertise in programming, operating, and trouble-shooting Yamaha consoles.
*Highly proficient in Q-Lab.
*Proficiency in setting up bands and organizing cables.
*Knowledge of Shure Wireless and Shure Wireless Workbench.
*Strong wireless systems understanding including programming, troubleshooting, maintenance, software and networking knowledge.
*Background working with Clear-Com systems.
*Skilled in soldering cable, speaker rigging/hanging, and signal patching.
*Self-motivated, organized and detail oriented.
*Ability to make thoughtful and timely decisions responding to shifting priorities and challenges as they arise.
*Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills, positive attitude, team player, collaboration skills and problem-solving skills.
*Must be able to troubleshoot problems quickly and effectively.
*Must be comfortable working at heights and able to lift and carry 50lbs.
*Job requires the ability to sit/stand for long periods of time, and bend, stoop, or kneel in execution of duties as assigned.
*College degree preferred, but a combination of school and industry experience is acceptable.
*Ability to take instruction and feedback from supervisors.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
*Maintaining all sound equipment.
*Maintain a safe work environment, following all safety procedures.
*Set-up/tear down of all speakers/monitors/band equipment/microphones needed for each production.
*Running all shows.
*Set-up/tear down of all band rehearsals.
*Attending production meetings.
