Photographer: 30 October, 2024+ndash; January 1, 2025

Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet seeks a skilled and energetic Video/Photo professional (Photographer) for the tour during November and December. There are two skill sets needed for this position.
The successful candidate will capture each performance on HD video, with a focus on the 30-100 local children performing with Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet in each city. Photographer will bring all camera equipment necessary. DSLR+rsquo;s are not acceptable video capturing devices for this tour. Photographer will establish and manage a workflow that will include capturing video and sending it back to Headquarters for post production processing.
Photographer will photograph each of 30-100 local children in full costume, in each tour city. Photos should receive light retouching and then be uploaded to Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet+rsquo;s cloud based sales platform. Photographer to supply camera equipment.
Photographer will be tasked with capturing images of the professional company on stage, during performances. These images will be used for commercial/marketing purposes.
Photographer will download all show photos and video to hard drives to be shipped back to Talmi Entertainment+rsquo;s main office in Massachusetts.
Photographer will ensure specific performances are videotaped from the top of the show through to curtain call with correct audio and camera placement.
Photographer will also be responsible for creating content used for PR and Social Media outlets, including backstage photos/video. Photographer will collaborate with a team to achieve this.

Portfolios without examples of both video AND photography will be discarded.
Requirements:
Prior tour experience a huge plus
Significant portfolio with both video and photo examples
4-year Degree in related field
Professional level social skills
