Asolo Rep (LORT B) Florida+rsquo;s premier professional theatre and one of the most important
cultural forces in the Southeastern U.S is seeking to fill its Resident Master Electrician
Position This is a full-time year-round staff position which requires candidate to be a resident of
the community. Department Head responsible for all aspects of Asolo Repertory Theatre lighting operations.

Essential Functions -

+bull; Lighting supervision of all productions.
+bull; Coordination and supervision of electrical department personnel and work crews.
+bull; Maintain and repair all equipment, supplies and storage.
+bull; Schedule and execute off-season maintenance.
+bull; Function as lighting board programmer and operator for technical rehearsals.
+bull; Run shows as required.
+bull; Train and supervise lighting operators as required.
+bull; Discuss and maintain lighting budget and scheduling with Production Manager.
+bull; Collaborate with Designers to Design, create, draft, and focus repertory light plot
+bull; Function as lighting consultant for all departments and theater functions.


Requirements:

+bull; Comprehensive knowledge of operating, maintaining, and repairing lighting equipment
+bull; Skill with Vectorworks, Lightwright, and the Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel and Access).
+bull; Ability to program and operate an ETC Eos Family console.
+bull; Strong understanding of ETCNet and Networking for Lighting and Show Control.
+bull; Ability to program video in Watchout is a plus
+bull; Hours vary with the production calendar and show assignments. Work shifts include afternoon and evening hours, weekend hours, and overtime.
