Job Overview
The Lead Production Tech role for EBD will focus on complete execution of assigned events
(prep/load/set/ros/strike/warehouse reload). Once assigned a project, this position will be responsible for planning equipment and labor needs, as well as keeping projects on time and on-scope. You will be required to operate as a lead AV tech for event ROS, as well as act as the lead on production only events.

Responsibilities:
You will work under the direction of the Director of Production (DOP), Operations Manager, and Production Managers for Events By Design and during this time your responsibilities will be, but not limited to:
● Operate live events as needed- nights and weekends required)
● Lead + manage small teams to execute medium-sized event set ups, keeping team
members on task and on time from start to finish
● Pull/Prep event equipment per pull lists created by Production Managers
● Oversee+help load trucks safely, efficiently and with care
● Ability to learn and develop AV/Production skills to better serve clients, coworkers, and
the company as a whole
● Partner with appropriate departments to determine technical and logistical/operation
needs for events based on client needs.
● Troubleshoot onsite issues, make production decisions and own outcomes
● Assist sales team with any post-sale changes or needs on assigned projects
● Total ownership of events assigned to you
● Act as client liaison answering questions and working through changes when
assigned as Lead Tech on-site
● Work professionally and respectfully with clients, vendors, and team members
throughout the process both in-person and via email/phone, responding in a timely
manner.
