Position: Raue Center School For The Arts Summer Camp OnStage +ndash; Costume Coordinator

Raue Center School For The Arts (RCSA) is thrilled to be launching its summer education camp program and
is looking for a for a skilled, self- motivated costume coordinator to join our team for the RCSA production of
Moana Jr. Potential costume coordinator should be a self-starter and an excellent collaborator with the creative
team members.
The Costume Coordinator, with the assistance of a support committee, will oversee costumes, hair, and makeup
for Moana Jr. Job overview includes the following:
Costume Coordinator Responsibilities:
+bull; Oversee costumes, hair, and makeup with the assistance of a support committee for Moana Jr.
+bull; Collaborate closely with the director to create, brainstorm, and plot the overall look and feel of the
show.
+bull; Research the specialized looks of the characters of the show and matching the overall theme of the
show.
+bull; Demonstrate a solid understanding of Moana Jr. based on the animated film to assist in creating a
design based on the look/style of the original but should not be necessarily copied. We would like the
designer to create their own feel and look of the show.
+bull; Assist student cast members in pulling looks together from students+rsquo; personal wardrobe.
+bull; Supplement additional costumes by pulling from stock or purchasing when necessary, working with a
budget.
+bull; Attend production meetings, dress parades, tech and dress rehearsals, and fittings.
+bull; Act as the liaison between the director and stage manager.
+bull; Oversee the parent support committee, who will assist as directed with the costume acquirement,
alterations, and purchases.
+bull; Oversee and plan out what sort of make-up and hair requirements there will be along with the
assistance of a support committee. The potential candidate will also collaborate with the director on
vision.
+bull; All designers will need to participate in strike, immediately following the final performance (Saturday,
July 27th)

+bull; Auditions + Callbacks: Week of June 10, 2024 (Times are being finalized)
+bull; Rehearsals: June 17 +ndash; July 24, 2024
+bull; Performances: July 25 +ndash; July 27, 2024
