Position Overview: The xMPL Manager will play a crucial role in facilitating the technology-intensive Experimental Media Performance Lab (xMPL). This flexible black box theater serves as a creative hub for faculty and students across multiple departments (Art, Dance, Drama, and Music). The xMPL allows us to present innovative performances and exhibitions that combine elements of various art forms, with enhanced support for lighting, audio, video, and interactivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with faculty, students, and guest artists to successfully produce all xMPL events.
Coordinate with production teams from different CTSA departments to address technical issues related to lighting, audio, video, and other technical needs.
Manage schedules for performances, exhibitions, and other events in the xMPL space.
Oversee event set-up and strike.
Establish and reconcile budgets for the xMPL and related spaces in coordination with the CTSA Production Manager.
