Pay

20,600 stipend for 9 months + tuition remission annually

University of Florida School of Theatre and Dance has openings for graduate assistants in Lighting Design and Scenic Design. Each student completes core requirements in their area of interest and rounds out their degree with electives determined by their interest and skill level. Electives include but are not limited to: Architectural Lighting, Themed Environment Integration, Detail Design, Artificial Intelligence. In addition students are well prepared for post-graduation success through a professional internship program.

As graduate assistants, students teach introductory level BFA courses and work in production shops an average of no more than 20 hours/week.
