3dx Scenic is a full-service custom theming fabrication studio. We service the theme park industry as well as interior design firms, corporate branding, and live events functions. Theming includes interactive experiences, custom character sculpts, and permanent structural elements that convert spaces from functional to immersive environments. Our work involves: foam, plastics, steel, aluminum, hardwood, composites, and plywood, all with custom paint finishes.

As a member of our Live Events team, you will be responsible for pulling and prepping rental items, traveling to live event sites and managing a local crew to install scenery. The position will also be responsible for managing and maintaining the scenic rental inventory:

Show Prep:

Use supplied pack lists to pull rental scenery from our warehouse
Label/Wrap/Pack show items
Cut/prep show carpet and stage fascia

Onsite Installations:

Travel to show locations
Lead and assist groups of local labor in the timely completion of scenic installations
Strike and truck pack of scenic elements

Rental scenery repair/maintenance:

Check items in as they return from shows
Perform small repairs as needed
Pack/label/store items properly
Construction of new items
Read and interpret build drawings
Assemble CNC plywood pieces using basic shop tools
Apply laminate as needed

Basic Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver+rsquo;s license with acceptable driving history
Positive attitude, ability to learn new skills quickly

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with general shop tools (drill, table saw, chop saw, router, etc.)
Experience in Live Events/Installations
Experience operating forklifts and MEWPs (boom lift/scissor lift, etc.)
