Pay
$25/hour Depending on Experience per hour
Transcendence Theatre Company is seeking a scenic carpenter for our summer season. We produce three musical theatre reviews over a 4-month period in Sonoma County.
This position would report to the Technical Director.
Scenic Carpenter is responsible for:
Build required set pieces to specifications
Repair existing set pieces to show-ready status
Following all safety protocols as required
Ability to read/layout drawings
Experience with table saw, chop saw, band saw, and pneumatic tools
Prep + load trucks as needed
Valid drivers license needed
Position requires lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs
Experience with faux painting and staining a plus
Theatrical scenic experience also beneficial
Schedule varies but will be roughly 3-5 days per week June 1 to September 13
Pay based on experience. Could potentially start sooner as well.
