A professionally designed and purposefully created space for arts teaching and learning, community engagement, and excellence in performance, the Goldfarb will serve as an artistic hub and economic engine for the entire Western Illinois region.
MFA students will actively engage in areas including marketing, box office and audience services, artist hospitality, resource development, and venue management, gaining experience that translates directly to their career goals.
The faculty of WIU include working artists and experienced arts professionals, who are committed to the success of our students.
Students will develop a personal mission statement, and work directly with the program head to design a curriculum path and experiential learning to advance their professional goals.
