Technical Supervisor (Theater)
NX5 Theatrical is now accepting submissions for an experienced A1 for the touring production of Stranger Sings, a musical parody.

SALARY
$1,000/wk
Additional compensation: $400/wk for per diem

EMPLOYMENT LOCATION
TOURING
Housing and travel provided

RELEVANT DATES
First day of employment: January 4th
Last day of employment: April 5th

POSITION SUMMARY
The primary responsibilities of this position includes the following:
Training in all positions of the run crew, able to sub in and out as needed.
Maintenance of the touring kit.
Leadership of all load ins and load outs for every touring venue, including:
Management and execution of the LX plot load ins and load outs for each city.
Management and execution of the scenic and prop load ins and outs for each city.
Performance of routine checks and day to day maintenance of the light plot, scenery, and props.
Management of the touring kit+rsquo;s stock and expendables inventory. This includes upkeep of inventory lists, submission of purchase requests, and continual organization of supplies and gear.
Troubleshooting of any LX gear.

The nature of the show requires candidates who are comfortable with working in darkened environments. Applicants must be able to stoop, kneel or crouch, and ascend and descend stairs multiple times per show.
