PROPERTIES SUPERVISOR
Dates: ASAP +ndash; September 21, 2025
Compensation: $650+ndash;$725/week, commensurate with experience
Includes: Housing and travel stipend

Theatre By The Sea is seeking a skilled and reliable Props Supervisor to join our team for the 2025 season. Most props are already built, so the primary responsibilities will include running shows (8 performances/week), maintaining and repairing props as needed, and acquiring any new items during the rehearsal process.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain and repair props throughout the run of each show

Run props backstage during performances and coordinate with Stage Management

Source and acquire new props as needed during rehearsals

Keep props storage and backstage areas organized and safe

Ensure all props are used safely and consistently

Supervise any props assistants or backstage crew assigned to the department

SKILLS + QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid driver+rsquo;s license required

Prior experience in props supervision or backstage run crew preferred

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Ability to work independently and troubleshoot under pressure

Collaborative, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused
